I am torn about the name catherine. I was born in the 00s and i grew up with a handful of other katie’s. [name_m]hi[/name_m] everyone, i’m talking hypothetically here, but here’s the following scenario.
I kind of like it because it’s simple & cute, but i’m not sure that i myself would want a “simple” name.
[name]katharine [/name] is too ms hepburn. If you were considering using this for a first name which would you go with if you were going to be using both names interchangeably? What other forms of catherine. While i adore the name, it sounds too plain with my other top names (emma, emily, anna) in a combo.
As a [name_f]katie [/name_f], i feel i absolutely need to weigh in on this! It is less common and really cute. For those that do not already know, a double barrel name is when a person goes by two names for their first name; I also work with young children.
